Something I am superbly grateful for, while living in little 70,000 population Rapid City, South Dakota, is the easy access to the Black Hills National Park and mountain range.
Just look at this driving map!
An easy half hour drive into the hills and we saw four people on our 8 mile excursion.
We can drive 20-60 minutes and have 2,000 square miles to roam.
On Saturday, March 5th, Desi and I went out for a run (with some hiking) to enjoy one of the first 70 degree days. Photos below!
