Motivation is just having empathy with your future-self and acting on that knowledge.
You can look up or be told almost any information, but to get it done requires some extra motivation, sometimes.
In this video, I’ll take you through a few mindset techniques I use with myself and help my clients understand to help make these good habits stick.
We know that getting our running and strength work in, eating 3 Oreos instead of the entire row, and/or going out of our way to food prep makes us feel good in the long run.
Today I’ll take you through:
▶️ The “one more mile” mantra
▶️ The “how will I feel later?” filter
▶️ What activation energy is.
1️⃣ Brainstorm 2 or 3 tasks you would like to more consistently do.
2️⃣ Brainstorm 1-3 ways you can lower the activation energy required to do these tasks.
3️⃣ Write them down on a sticky note, hang this up where you can see it, act on it!
